Somethings are quite similar, yet so very different. I don't suppose that a creepy little guy like Gollum could really take out a Jedi Master like Yoda, but hey.
I thought Eowyn was a pretty cool character in LOTR , but then I started to wonder how hard it would be for any guy to live up to the standard that she had already set.
I'm not sure where this came from. There's a bit of Octodad, Gary Larson and even Scarfolk Council as influences. I do like the look on the goldfish's face. He's all like, 'Mr Squidman, you're here to save me.'
After watching the first season of Stranger Things, I was thinking about how human's tend to rationalise everything. If I saw a weird creatures face emerging from the wall, would I think it was an entity from another dimension, or would I look for some more reasonable explanation? Honestly, I don't know. Honestly, I hope I never find the answer to that question.
I love old sci-fi movies and TV. The Twilight Zone was great, and the punchline to this episode was both terrifying and hilarious. Mostly hilarious. I thought, 'if you're going to have a double meaning for "to serve mankind", why not take it all the way.'
